TELFAR Unisex Bags in the Wild + Their Fall Colors Drop Today
Would you Believe the Small Bags are More Expensive at Resale? See Inside.
TELFAR bags are really big around LA and I see a lot of bright colors in West Hollywood, lately. I could swear the brand must have a wide range of colors as I rarely see the same shade twice, except for primary colors. Their fall colors happen to drop today, so it’s kismet. It’s impressive that the unisex design isn’t just a marketing ploy, but truly utilized and appreciated across gender identities.
As a sidebar, I thought the outfit above was inspired. I only got a quick look at all the angles, but it seemed to be a graphic white T shirt over a dress or skirt that was split at the sides. The chunky silver layered necklaces [that you can’t see] added a nice twist to that tough to tender ratio.
This person must be a VIP because that bag color “drab” isn’t dropping until today.
Proof below!
You’ve heard of Telfar Clemens and the fashion brand he launched in 2005, with the bags introduced in 2014, on the runway, which were quickly all the rage with celebrities.
It’s important to note that he chose to go vegan with his bags as that lower price point in order to increase access to the brand, versus becoming an elusive luxury line. He has since folded in limited leather bags.
The small shopping bag (inspired by Bloomies) are $150, but - ironically - they’re more expensive at resale shops… by a lot! Here’s a look at REBAG pricing — at Wasteland in Studio City, CA, from this week ($200/$250).

One of my superpowers Is spotting patterns and I take snapshots of absolutely everything 24/7 and ultimately find said patterns in my 100,000+ camera roll, with many happy accidents (such as Balenciaga Boys coming soon.) Cheers to a big fall launch!
Now I want a small shopping bag, too, but would need to get it before it sells out online. [Too late!] I’m pretty sure I need the navy blue.
Cheers to a big fall launch!
New York Fashion Week is officially in full force and I’m taking you back to my early adventures shooting street fashion in the next post — where I spotted two models using a selfie stick for the first time, with chaos surrounding them.
