Trending: Citrus Squeeze
I’m predicting a surge of CITRUS SQUEEZE colors for Spring, primarily featuring bold yellows and greens and I’ve been spotting some fun finds around Los Angeles. Who else wants this genius BOTTEGA VENETA vest? Her nails were ahead of the curve, too.
Bottega Veneta’s $3700 unisex, intrecciato weave tech vest can be shopped here or grab a pre-owned XS on Vestiaire Collective at around $2376, with tags.
Grab this GALLERY DEPT find, a favorite brand I’ve talked about in this post featuring Fashion Men on the Move. I spotted this pre-loved T Shirt at The Real Real.
This woman’s Jacquemus bag was shot around Thanksgiving at The Grove in LA. I also noticed some east and west side women in black outfits and lemon yellow crossbody bags in the past week.
RECESS, a favorite modern vintage shop on La Brea that I just shot, is a mecca for fashion aficionados. This pre-owned butter yellow BOTTEGA VENETA padded cassette bag can be purchased online, if it hasn’t already sold out since I shot this Monday. I love the hardware! I have so many more cool things to share from this shop.
Apple’s Hello Yellow campaign is all over LA and plays into this citrus theme. There’s also a billboard above this mural, doing double duty last weekend.
From the Archives:
The color combo reminds me of the time I shot model / entrepreneur Angela Pham in her lemon lime ebay find. This is from a decade ago in New York, but I’m including it since the vibe is re-trending since 2011. (I’m sure it’s trended again since then, but I’m only referring to what I’ve documented, myself).
I finally committed to a music library and am editing some short stories this weekend to start posting here and across all apps, including YouTube.
If you see something you like along the way, please consider giving it a share on social media or leaving a SUBSTACK NOTE, a new feature that was just announced today. (If that Substack announcement is too TLDR, here’s a more compact MASHABLE read.)
Thanks for the hang and will be back with more from RECESS and… an amazing race?
