[SUNDAY SNACK Volume 8]: Ice Cream So Good, Abstract Art as an Acquired Taste and Home Decor Feelings Rolling In
I’ll be adding more home decor and design stories into the mix — and included a couple favorite videos below. Something about fall always has me in nesting mode and I suspect that I’ve always been a maximalist living some kind of lie as a minimalist. Time will tell.

I’ve been trying to teach myself illustration programs and obviously have a long way to go, but am really embracing any and all accidents.
I’ve been watching too many vertical vids (I’m the problem, it’s me), but made a lot of progress in seeing things more cinematically around LA last week. (I usually just notice the micro details and not the negative space or wide shots.) I’m seeing a lot of giant graffiti walls with seemingly tiny humans walking in the foreground. What I’m most proud of is not feeling the need to stop, shoot and share it, but am just truly savoring it in the moment. I’ve also moved my instagram app out of my eyeline, so I can adjust some bad habits. Plus, I sure don’t like getting tech neck. You, too?
